the cousins...

my mom and mike wanted me to take pictures of their grandkids. three very active toddlers! herding cattle would have been easier lol but it was a blast. it was a quick 30minute shoot at a local park.

i shot (the image below) at f/5.6 and ashton still came OOF lol. still need work figuring it out! but it's still a cute image!

    holy moly, these are so good! the last photo, the eyes are gorgeous! and I love the three pictures in a row where you focused on each kid. AMAZING work, anne!!!!!!

    Great shots! Question about your method - do you use manual or auto focus? The crispness you achieve in the eyes is amazing.

    isn't he a cutie! such a character! thank you karen! and Mrs.S i shoot with AF but i think it's my lens. i shoot with primes (this shoot was with the 85mm 1.8) which are sharper than zooms. and i closed down a bit to about f/2 - f/2.2 (for closeups). if i shot wide open i would have missed focus and none of the eyes would be in focus.
