i only had time and energy to finish one. turns out my cold took a turn for the worse instead of better and finishing this house was almost not going to happen. i probably won't win. i have had some people tell me it's too simple for a gingerbread house. but i love it. david doesn't want me to give it up for charity (silent auction after judging contest) so he asked me if i would be willing to make another one JUST like this one for us lol. everything is edible (even the trees) except for the base board and the snowman's nose (a toothpick). what do you guys think?
i'm worried how i am going to get it to the store. it's a 35min drive :o/ lol.
Schatz, as with every creative thing you do you made this totally awsome. I am amazed at the details i.e. the logs, the trees, the snowman, for goodness sakes the wreath? and the light?:))). Incredulous, the detail are neverending. The ONLY reason you would not win would be that it is just like a picture out of a travelmagazine and not a fairybook!
ReplyDeletelove you all
