i should be cooking dinner...

but i will share some candid moments spent in ashton's room today (only 60% finished at this point).. we at least have all his furniture. no more trips to ikea anytime soon (thank goodness.. even though their swedish meatballs are entirely worth a trip all by themselves).

he loves his room. his entire face just lights up! now, instead of wanting lenses i want toys, lots and lots of colorful fun toys. (i think i just heard david sigh and roll his eyes at me.. eerie).

please ignore the (colorful) fabric mess behind him (see i'm not afraid of color lol). they are going to be future pillow covers for his floor pillows. hopefully i can get started on them tonight while david tries to hang up his "staircase" shelf. we bought 300lbs drywall anchors just for the shelf. HA!

he kills me. seriously.

he kept watching the trees blowing in the wind.

i know it's hard to see past the cute baby, but do you see our new shelves?! lots of space for new fun toys! i'm loving our new shelves.

the light in this room is so wonderful. i have a feeling we are going to have so many beautiful memories in this room.

a little blurry but his face is too cute to resist! to me it looks like he's saying, "aren't i cute enough for new toys?". why yes sweetie, you are!

  1. Wow, even from just ever seeing him in photos, he looks like he's changing so much as he grows. Beautiful!
